Pastor Rob has served as senior pastor since January 2001. Before that, he was the volunteer youth pastor of our Code Red Youth Ministries. He grew up in the Pierce County area where many of his extended family still reside.
Pastor Rob wants to be known as someone who is passionate and practical,
a little too silly for his own good.
Deacons: Jerry & Brenda Keener
Jerry, his wife Brenda serve the Church and community well as local deacons. They carry more than their fair share of the weight through practical ministry, as well as serving as spiritual leadership for the congregation on many levels.
Youth Pastor: Corey McBee
Corey works tirelessly in many capacities throughout the Church, perhaps most importantly is his role as youth pastor. He brings a highly relational approach to ministering to today's emerging generations. His warm, caring personality enables him to break through many barriers associated with hard-to-reach youth. Like the rest of our leadership, Corey has a serious silly streak (hence, the picture). Corey's wife Michelle also serves in leadership for Rivers Fellowship.
We have many leaders throughout our congregation that often go unnoticed. They lead small groups, they lead their own families. We cherish all those who serve in every area of ministry. This Church is a body ministry.
Children's Pastor: Ellen Summers
Ellen brings many years of experience to children's ministry. Perhaps the only bigger than her resume is her heart for little ones. She leads a capable, safe group of ministers in Kings Kids.
Ellen doesn't limit her ministry to the young, however.
She also is very active in ministering to women and is known as an effective intercessor for Rivers Fellowship.
